Florida State fell to 0-3 after a shocking 20-12 loss to Memphis at home on Saturday. While there has been plenty of blame to go around for FSU's disastrous start, former Clemson and Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has been cast in a particularly unflattering light through three games. Uiagalelei completed just 16 of his 30 passing attempts for 201 yards and an interception in the loss.

So far this year, Uiagalelei has more turnovers (two) than total touchdowns (one). FSU is averaging just 15.3 points per game after averaging more than 34 last season. Following Saturday's loss, Florida State fans are asking whether a switch to backup signal caller Brock Glenn could provide a much-needed spark for the Seminoles going forward. Coach Mike Norvell appeared to sidestep the question in his postgame press conference, but his answer certainly didn't rule out a future change under center.

"I have a lot of confidence for the guys in that quarterback room," Norvell said postgame. "But also, we have to be able to help the guy out there as well. If you throw a ball, and it hits somebody in the hands. You have to be able to catch it. ... we all have challenges. It's easy to point to one person. This has to be better. At the end of the day, we all have to be better. We always are evaluating every part of it."

Glenn started Florida State's final two games of the 2023 season after Jordan Travis sustained a season-ending injury against North Alabama last fall. Glenn completed 19 of 51 attempts for 229 yards and two interceptions in five games of action as a true freshman.

Uiagalelei has regressed after posting his his best statical season of his career last year . Uiagalelei threw for a career-high 2,638 yards and recorded 27 total touchdowns at Oregon State.

Florida State hosts Cal next Saturday at home.
