The Baylor Bears (2-3) will try to snap their two-game losing streak when they go on the road to face the No. 16 Iowa State Cyclones (4-0) on Saturday night. Baylor lost to Colorado and then-No. 22 BYU by one score each, putting the Bears in a tie for last place in the Big 12 standings. Iowa State opened conference play with a 20-0 win at Houston last week, holding a fourth straight opponent under 20 points to open the season. The Cyclones notched a 30-18 road win last year, but Baylor has won six of the last 10 meetings.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium. Why Iowa State can cover

Iowa State has continued to move up the rankings after winning all four of its games to open the season. The Cyclones were dominant on both sides of the ball last week, notching a 20-0 win at Houston. Sophomore running back Abu Sama III had 11 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown, while senior Jaylon Jackson finished with 96 yards.

The Cyclones will be playing in front of a "white out" crowd as they try to improve to 5-0 for the first time since 1980. They have outscored opponents 113-29 this season, as their defense ranks fourth in college football with just 7.3 points allowed per game. Iowa State has covered the spread in eight of its last 12 games, while Baylor is on a 12-game losing skid against Big 12 opponents. See which team to pick here.

    Why Baylor can cover

Iowa State does not have a particularly explosive offense, finishing with 21 points or less in three of its four games. The Cyclones prefer to control the clock and play methodically, which will make it difficult to cover the two-touchdown spread. Baylor has scored at least 28 points in four of its first five games, narrowly losing to then-No. 22 BYU last week.

Junior quarterback Sawyer Robertson completed 27 of 48 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns against the Cougars. He has rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns this season, as one of five Baylor players who have gone over the 100-yard rushing mark. Baylor has covered the spread in five of the last six meetings between these teams. See which team to pick here.
