The depth of the Fantasy football rankings was bound to be tested at some point during the season, but with teams now on bye and Fantasy football injuries mounting, this is by far the hardest stretch of the NFL season. Managers who spent the No. 1 overall pick on Christian McCaffrey were hoping that their superstar running back would finally return to their Week 6 Fantasy football lineups, but San Francisco has already ruled McCaffrey out this week. That's good news if you handcuffed McCaffrey with Jordan Mason , but could create another difficult start-sit decision if you weren't fortunate enough to land Mason on waivers after Week 1. Before setting your Fantasy football lineups, be sure to check out the Week 6 Fantasy football rankings from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

When it comes to ranking players, SportsLine's model beat human experts in Fantasy football for the past several seasons, especially when there were big differences in ranking. Over the course of a season, that could literally be the difference between winning your league or going home empty-handed.

The same model has a proven track record of providing Fantasy football tips, including being ahead of the curve on players like A.J. Brown , Jonathan Taylor , Derrick Henry , Christian McCaffrey , Alvin Kamara , and Jahmyr Gibbs . Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire Week 6 NFL schedule 10,000 times and released its latest Week 6 Fantasy football rankings. Head to SportsLine now to see them .

Top Week 6 Fantasy football QB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 6 Fantasy football QB picks:

    1. Lamar Jackson , Baltimore Ravens : Jackson ranks first among Fantasy football quarterbacks entering Week 6 and he is coming off his best performance of the year last week against the Bengals . Jackson threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns while also adding 55 rushing yards for a week-winning performance.

    2. Jalen Hurts , Philadelphia Eagles : Fresh off a bye week, Hurts and the Eagles draw a Browns defense that has failed to impress in 2024. After leading the NFL in total defense in 2023, the Browns rank 13th in yards allowed and are 23rd in the NFL in scoring defense. The Commanders put up 434 yards and 34 points against Cleveland last week.

    3. Jordan Love Green Bay Packers : Love averaged 8.6 yards per pass attempt in a win over the Rams and now he'll take on a suspect Cardinals pass defense. Arizona allows 7.1 net adjusted yards per pass attempt, which ranks 28th in the NFL this season. See more top QBs here .

Top Week 6 Fantasy football RB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 6 Fantasy football RB picks:

    1. Saquon Barkley , Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley has had at least 116 scrimmage yards in every game this season and he's scored five touchdowns in four games. Expect a heavy workload coming off a bye week and for another big outing against the Browns.

    2. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens: At 30, Henry is showing no signs of slowing down. He leads the NFL in rushing yards (572) and rushing touchdowns (6) and he's scored in every game this season. The Commanders rank 31st in the NFL in yards allowed per carry (5.1).

    3. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions : The timeshare with David Montgomery is frustrating for anybody who rosters either player, but Dan Campbell has made sure both are well-fed. Gibbs has averaged just over 90 scrimmage yards per game, has had at least 14 touches in every contest and has scored four touchdowns this season in four games. See more top RBs here .

Top Week 6 Fantasy football WR rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 6 Fantasy football WR picks:

    1. CeeDee Lamb , Dallas Cowboys : He doesn't have a 100-yard game yet in 2024 but he's had at least four catches and hasn't fallen below 61 yards over Dallas' first five outings. Now he'll match up with a leaky Lions pass defense that ranks 27th in the NFL.

    2. Jayden Reed , Green Bay Packers: There are a lot of mouths to feed in the Green Bay receiving room but Reed has been the most productive on a per-touch basis and he's got a higher floor than his counterparts because of his involvement in the running game. He has 524 scrimmage yards and has scored three touchdowns in five games.

    3. Ja'Marr Chase , Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals are a disappointing 1-4 but the offense has put up at least 30 points in each of the last three weeks and Chase has 19 catches for 396 yards and five touchdowns during that span. If Cincinnati is going to turn it around, expect even more involvement for Chase. See more top WRs here .

Top Week 6 Fantasy football TE rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 6 Fantasy football TE picks:

    1. George Kittle , San Francisco 49ers : Kittle was targeted a season-high 12 times last week in a loss to the Cardinals and he finished with eight catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. He's scored each of the last three times that he's suited up and the Seahawks have given up 71 points and 809 yards of total offense in losses the last two weeks.

    2. Brock Bowers , Las Vegas Raiders : The No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft looks like one of the most dynamic tight ends prospects in years and he's coming off a monstrous performance against the Broncos last week. Bowers was targeted 12 times and finished with eight catches for 97 yards while also scoring his first career touchdown.

    3. Dallas Goedert , Philadelphia Eagles: Over his last two starts before Philadelphia's bye week, Goedert caught 17 passes for 232 yards. Even with DeVonta Smith back, the model is penciling Goedert in as a top-three Fantasy football tight end for Week 6 against the Browns. See more top TEs here .

Top Week 6 Fantasy football defense rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three Week 6 Fantasy football D/ST picks:

    1. Texans D/ST: Houston only ranks 17th in the NFL in points allowed but ranks fourth in yards allowed. Now the Texans draw a juicy matchup against the Patriots , who are averaging only 12.4 points per game in Jerod Mayo's first season at the helm.

    2. Bills D/ST: Buffalo's defense looked dominant in the first three weeks but struggled in losses to the Ravens and Texans. However, this could be a chance for a get-right game against a jet-lagged squad that played in London last week. The Jets rank 25th in the NFL in scoring.

    3. Colts D/ST: The Colts have struggled on this side of the ball all season but the Titans are the most turnover-prone team in the NFL. Tennessee has nine giveaways in four games this season and Will Levis has already thrown two pick-sixes this year. See more top D/ST here .
