The Week 7 college football schedule has arrived and there are plenty of must-see matchups set to unfold on Saturday. One of the most intriguing matchups of the day happens in the Big Ten when No. 3 Oregon hosts No. 2 Ohio State at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Buckeyes feature college football's stingiest defense, giving up just 6.80 points per game, while the Ducks are averaging 35.0 points per game offensively. The latest Week 7 college football odds via SportsLine consensus list the Buckeyes as 3-point favorites on the road.
Other Week 7 college football lines of note include No. 1 Texas vs. No. 18 Oklahoma (+14), No. 4 Penn State vs. USC (+3.5) (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS) and No. 9 Ole Miss vs. No. 13 LSU (+3.5). One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 7: He's backing No. 7 Alabama (-21.5) to cover against South Carolina as the Tide return home for a noon ET matchup on Saturday. Alabama's offense has been prolific this season, averaging 44.6 points per game, which ranks eighth in the nation.
Quarterback Jalen Milroe has been extremely effective, throwing for 1,274 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He's also recorded 59 carries for 283 yards and nine rushing touchdowns. Even in last week's loss to Vanderbilt, Milroe completed 18 of 24 pass attempts for 310 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
The Crimson Tide are 8-0 in their last eight games at home and they're 11-5 against the spread in their past 16 games overall. The Gamecocks, meanwhile, are just 6-7 ATS as a road underdog with head coach Shane Beamer at the helm.
Marshall is also taking the Over (50.5) in this matchup since the total has gone over in five of Alabama's last seven games against South Carolina. See which other picks to make here .
