The second FedEx Cup Playoff event is here, and the BMW Championship will be played at Castle Pines Golf Club, which has not hosted a PGA Tour event since 2006. The interesting part about this golf course is that it will technically play as the longest in PGA Tour history, but in reality it will play much shorter than that. At more than 8,000 yards, Castle Pines will play closer to 7,000 because it's at 6,000 feet of elevation.

The Giants placed Cajuste (leg) on the reserve/injured list Monday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Cajuste was injured late in the fourth quarter of Saturday's preseason game against Houston. The leg injury is severe enough for him to be placed on IR, and he will be forced to miss the entire 2024 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Giants. Cajuste spent most of 2023 on the Giants' practice squad and he was competing for a depth spot on the offensive line for the upcoming season.

(AP) — Keegan Bradley went from a bundle of nerves waiting to see if he would advance in the PGA Tour postseason to a blissful day of birdies in mile-high air Thursday that led to a 6-under 66 and a one-shot lead in the BMW Championship. Bradley, the newly appointed U.S. Ryder Cup captain, was the last man to get in the 50-man field at Castle Pines and he had to sweat it out Sunday. He was in his hotel room with the TV going, the FedEx Cup standings on another screen and his phone buzzing. “One of the toughest afternoons of my PGA Tour career,” Bradley said. “It was really brutal. It’s such a relief to be here. I just felt a lot calmer today. But I played really, really well.” It showed on a course that could dole out punishment without a moment’s notice. Bradley missed only two fairways and two greens, took advantage of the par 5s and made it look relatively easy on the 8,130-yard course, the longest in PGA Tour history.
