POLICE: 2 arrested in major drug bust out of Longview
LONGVIEW, Texas — Two people have been arrested after a major drug bust in Longview. Officials from the Longview Police Department confirmed that Jabrealyn Carlisle, 23, and Michael Hill, 50, both of Longview, were arrested and transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident after police reportedly found weapons, drugs and drug paraphernalia at a house in the 900 block of S. 14th Street on Monday.

The Tyler City Council announced their unanimous approval for a partnership with Bass Pro Outdoor World to boost local economy. A press release from the city of Tyler shows the city council approved a vote to work alongside Bass Pro Outside World to develop economic and infrastructural resources within the community. Bass Pro Shop confirmed their plans to build a location in Tyler last week. This agreement would provide a sales tax rebate for the business as long as they meet the following performance criteria:
