2 hospitalized after crash on 465 on Indy’s south side

INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were hospitalized after a crash on Interstate 465 westbound on Sunday afternoon.

Public police reporting systems indicate first responders were dispatched to mile marker 52 of 465 — which is located on the south side of Indianapolis — around 2:25 p.m. Indiana State Police later confirmed two people were hospitalized after the crash.

ISP did not report the cause of the crash or how many cars were involved in it.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation’s traffic map , all lanes of the roadway were open as of 3:36 p.m. Lanes were temporarily restricted while officials cleaned up and investigated the crash.
