Trucker backed over by fellow driver during trailer disconnect

A truck driver is dead after an accident while helping a fellow driver in Louisiana late last week.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, August 14th at 12:20 p.m. in the 300 block of W 61st Street in Shreveport, Louisiana.

According to Fox 8 Live , 41-year-old Isaac Zamudio Valadez of McAllen, Texas was helping another driver to disconnect their truck and trailer when the other driver drove the truck right over Valadez.

Valadez was transported to a hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. An autopsy has been ordered. No further information has been released.
