    Be on the lookout for another  “superload” in Ohio this weekend

    The smallest of a group of “superloads” will make it’s was through Ohio this weekend.

    The seventeenth of nearly two dozen superloads will be transported from Adams County, Ohio to Licking County, Ohio beginning Friday, September 13th. The load is expected to be delivered on Sunday, September 15th.

    The load measures 17 feet, four inches tall, 18 feet wide, 86 feet long, and weighs 129,000 pounds, making it the smallest of the “superloads” being delivered to the new Intel plant.

    According to the Ohio Department of Transportation , the load will be transported through Adams, Scioto, Pike, and Ross counties beginning at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, September 13th, after the last school bus passes the site. The load will then be transported along US 52 east, US 23 north, US 35 west, SR 104 north, and on to the intersection with SR 207. The load will be stored overnight at the Ross County Fairgrounds.

    Saturday, September 14th, the load will be driven through Ross, Pickaway, and Franklin counties beginning at 9 a.m. The load will be transported north on SR 104 to SR 762, and then east on SR 762 to Rickenbcker Parkway. The load will then be stored overnight in Rickenbacker.

    On Sunday, September 15th, the load will make it’s way through Franklin, Fairfield, and Licking counties beginning at 6:30 a.m. It will be hauled along the following roadways:

    • north on Rickenbacker Parkway North to Alum Creek Drive.
    • north on Alum Creek Drive to Rohr Road.
    • east on Rohr Road to Commerce Center Drive.
    • north on Commerce Center Drive to Green Pointe Drive South.
    • east on Green Point Drive South to Saltzgaber Road.
    • south on Saltzgaber Road to SR 317.
    • north in the southbound lanes on SR 317 past Groveport to Bixby Road
    • east on Bixby Road to US 33.
    • SR 674/Gender Road north to Brice Road.
    • Brice Road north to the intersection with Tussing Road/SR 204 in Columbus.
    • east on Tussing Road/SR 204 east to SR 310.
    • north on SR 310 to US 40 in Etna.
    • west on US 40 to Etna Parkway.
    • north on Etna Parkway to SR 16.
    • east on SR 16 to SR 310.
    • north on SR 310 to SR 161.
    • west on SR 161 to Mink Street.
    • north on Mink Street to Clover Valley Road NW.
