Some trucking ‘pirates’ in Mexico were caught on dash cam trying to steal another driver’s trailer in this wild video.

In the clip, a driver is traveling along a dark, two lane road with guardrails and a very narrow shoulder when a bobtail rig pulls up and cuts in front of them. The bobtail hits the brakes incredibly close to the filming driver, seemingly trying to cause a wreck, and straddles the lanes trying to keep the driver from passing.

The two rigs eventually collide, and the filming truck pushes the bobtail into the guardrail before regaining control and continuing on with hardly any reaction from the driver.

“Trailerless truck trying to stop one with a Trailer. It could be a hijacking,” commented one viewer.

    “Road pirates,” added another.

“Would explain why driver got the hell out of dodge after he put buddy into the barrier,” wrote a third.

The pirates tried it on me. 2 guys on a motorcycle pulled up beside me. Guy on the back stood on seat to jump on my truck. I put a sawed off doubble barrel 12 Guage out my window. When they saw that, they cut off into the desert & crashed in the sand. I was hauling a tanker full of alcohol.
