Trucker found dead along I-80 identified as police investigate foul play suspicions

Police have identified the truck driver found dead in his cab under suspicious circumstances late last week.

The deceased driver has been identified as Jaspinder Singh, age unknown. Singh was found inside of his parked semi truck on the Delle on-ramp along Interstate 80 at milepost 70 in Utah at about 10:15 a.m. on September 26th.

According to ABC4 , Singh was found dead by a co-worker after they noticed his GPS had been stationary for a period of time. The trucker’s death is still under investigation.

“The death is suspicious in nature and we suspect foul play,” a press release from DPS states. “The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) will be conducting the investigation, and the county attorney has been notified.”
