    50-year trucking veteran actually has no complaints about the industry today

    A truck driver of almost half a century is still loving the job in this short interview clip.

    In the video, 48-year trucking veteran ‘Danny’ shows off the 379 Peterbilt he bought brand new back in 1999. The rig, which Danny calls a “he” in the video, has been with him for nearly 3 million miles and the engine has been overhauled once for each of those million miles.

    When asked what bothers him about trucking today, Danny responds “I don’t know. Not really much. I’m happy with it.”

    His one caveat is that he thinks trucking was more fun 30 or 40 years ago, but honestly, what wasn’t more fun back when you were 40 years younger?
