    Perryville defeats Aberdeen 34-7

    ABERDEEN — Perryville picked up its fourth win of the year with a 27-point win over Aberdeen on Friday night. The Panthers remain unbeaten.

    Quarterback Joe Thomason went 8-of-11 with 151 passing yards and three touchdowns. Coumel Edwards led Perryville with 103 yards on four receptions with a score. Jordon Jones added a rushing score. Jayden Byard recorded three total touchdowns with one through the air and two kick returns.

    Tayshawn Johnson led the Panthers with 13.5 total tackles, including 4.5 for a loss and a half sack. Edwards totaled seven tackles. Perryville finished with four sacks, including 1.5 from Trevon Johnson and one each from Pierce Sponaugle and Nathan Singleton. The Panthers forced two turnovers with an interception from Lorenzo Deer and a forced fumble by Maurice Wilkerson.

    Perryville (4-0) will visit Havre de Grace (3-1) in the annual Susquehanna Bowl on Friday.
