Fayette County Pushes Forward with Buc-ee's Project, Tax Incentives and $15M Loan Approved to Boost Memphis-Area Economy
The Fayette County Industrial Development Board has officially greenlit tax incentives for constructing a Buc-ee’s travel center. With the approval of a 20-year tax increment financing, the infrastructure costs amount to $17 million for necessary improvements like roads, water, and sewer systems. Area ag-related businesses eligible for SBA drought disaster loans
WASHINGTON, DC (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced federal Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are available in Virginia for small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofit organizations with economic losses due to drought that began on July 16. The specific primary counties, along with the adjacent localities, makes our entire Charlottesville area eligible. These loans are not available to the actual farmer or rancher, but are for aquacultural producers and nursery operators.
