OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Rachel Preissler showed off Bonnie, Blair Animal Shelter’s newest arrival. She is one of the many animals they get almost every single week. “We have 16 dogs in our shelter currently and we only have 10 kennels,” Preissler said. “All of our kennels are divided in half currently and cat-wise we have at least 42 adult cats and 22 kittens available for adoption right now.”

The 1960s-era strip center is going through a lot of change. Tom Kelly’s Bowling Pros Shop, a bakery and a barber shop have all moved out.
