Wegmans Receives Development Plan Extension For Holly Springs Site
The Holly Springs Town Council received and approved a development plan extension request by the popular grocery chain Wegmans at this week’s meeting. Wegmans owns property adjacent to the Lowes Home Improvement Center off Hwy 55 in Holly Springs. The extension moves their development plan approval expiration to February 2025. In the letter accompanying their request, Wegmans anticipates construction in mid-to-late 2026.

SPRING LAKE, N.C. (WNCN) — Harnett County deputies found an illegal gaming establishment at a business in Spring Lake on Thursday. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies with the Narcotics Division served a search warrant at Spring Lake Internet on NC 210 South. The search uncovered an illegal gaming establishment owned by Lewis Dong Jin Shin of Kernersville. The sheriff’s office said 41-year-old Kinya Brown was managing the business at the location.
