KNIGHTSDALE, N.C. (WNCN) — A fox tested positive for rabies after biting a woman in Knightdale on Thursday. According to Wake County Public Health and Wake County Animal Control, the incident occurred in a neighborhood near the corner of Kemp Drive and Hodge Road. SPRING LAKE, N.C. (WNCN) — Harnett County deputies found an illegal gaming establishment at a business in Spring Lake on Thursday. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies with the Narcotics Division served a search warrant at Spring Lake Internet on NC 210 South. The search uncovered an illegal gaming establishment owned by Lewis Dong Jin Shin of Kernersville. The sheriff’s office said 41-year-old Kinya Brown was managing the business at the location.
