Early Tuesday morning, University of Utah Police responded to a break-in that occurred in Shoreline Ridge. The intruder, a white male with shoulder-length blond hair and a beard, reportedly entered the residence hall through a window. He then allegedly entered a resident’s room and flashed a female student before leaving the scene. According to an alert issued by campus safety around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, the man then fled toward Red Butte Canyon Road.

Utah creates plan to mitigate toxic dust from Great Salt Lake
The Great Salt Lake Deputy Commissioner has created a priority list to tackle potentially toxic dust coming from the exposed lakebed.
