The Florida Gators will have a dynamic offensive scheme under head coach Billy Napier this year with plenty of talent. Offensively, this is recognized as a wide-zone running scheme. In this scheme, the offensive line blocks in a specific way to create wide running lanes, allowing the running backs to choose the best path. The idea is to stretch the defense horizontally and create cutback lanes for the running backs. This season, co-offensive coordinator Russ Callaway adds extra dimensions through strategic insight, upgrading both passing and running.

The University of Florida will have a school-best 40 current Gators and alumni at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which kicks off this week in the City of Lights.
