IDNR Shuts Down Recreational Boating On Fox River
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has temporarily shut down recreational boating on the Fox River, according to a letter posted by the IDNR today. High water levels, swift currents, floating debris and submerged structures in the Fox all contributed to the decision, which was recommended by Cpt Joshua Mooi of the IDNR and approved by Director Natalie Phelps-Finnie.

Survey: Nearly half of small businesses couldn't cover June rent
(The Center Square) – A new survey shows that nearly a third of Illinois small businesses couldn't pay their rent on time or in full in June, but conditions have improved. The small business network Alignable survey shows that nationwide, 46% of small business owners reported rent difficulties, the highest delinquency rate since March 2021. Savage X Fenty opens Friday at Orland Square Mall in Orland Park in the southwest suburbs, according to a press release.
