So what brings you out to the Republican National Convention?. So I've been to every convention since 1996. I've traveled across the country watching politics kind of from up close. This is the political epicenter for the week that it's here. I am incredibly proud that it is in Wisconsin. They have worked really hard to make this an excellent convention and if you ask, I think I've probably talked to delegates from half the country, and the thing that makes me the most proud is that, Wisconsin, nice is real. I have heard from all these delegates. They love Milwaukee. People have been friendly. The venue's been great. Weather's been spectacular, so I think that the organizers and, frankly, the party in the state has done a great job of showing the best that Wisconsin has to offer.

Manistique troopers arrest Wisconsin driver for OWI, possession of illegal drugs
MANISTIQUE, MI— A Wisconsin man was arrested in Schoolcraft County earlier this month on felony drug offenses. On the evening of July 12, Michigan State Police from the Manistique Outpost conducted a traffic stop on US-2 near Inland Quarry Road for a traffic violation. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver, Daniel Likness, 38, of Thiensville, Wisconsin, was under the influence.
Brady Street hit-and-run; Marvin Thomas sentenced, prison
MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee County judge sentenced Marvin Thomas on Monday, July 22 to two years in prison plus an additional three years of extended supervision in connection with a September 2023 Brady Street hit-and-run crash. The judge also sentenced Thomas to serve nine months in the Milwaukee County Community Reintegration Center.
