Kentucky ‘hero’ recognized nationwide for her efforts to leave ‘no kid hungry’
FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky anti-hunger advocates gathered at Frankfort High School on Thursday to honor the Commonwealth’s 2024 No Kid Hungry National Summer Hero. Cathy Gallagher, program manager for the Kentucky Department of Education’s Kentucky Summer Food Service Program, is one of only 10 summer heroes across the nation.
