The “Take Your Child to the Library Day” at the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library was a great success in spite of the rainy weather.

Mr. Roy read the book, “Library Books are Not for Eating”. The kids enjoyed enjoyed hearing about a dinosaur teacher with a voracious appetite for books. To Eat! Bandit the Racoon made a visit and got lots of hugs. The kids made origami bookmarks, had fun with LEGO’s, crafts, dinosaurs, puzzles, coloring pages and magnets.

The photo booth was a big hit with the kids also. Even with rainy and cold weather, we had an attendance of 41.

The Library wants to invite you to “Take Your Child to the Library” any time of the year!
