The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their regular monthly meeting Saturday, July 20, 2024. A workshop presentation on Photographing Patterns, Textures and Lines was conducted, and monthly challenge photos were presented. “Abstracts” was subject for club members submitting up to three photos of their choice displaying their version of abstract photography. The group reported a fun time with this challenge as noted by the number of submissions.

Club members voted and discussed about how changes, if any, could be made to help the photographer improve their photo.

Club favorites for the month of July were First Place Favorite “Mash Splash” by Anna Jones, Second Place Favorite “Feathers” by Debra Cockrell, and Third Place Favorite “Sunburst Blossoms” by Summer Koltonski.
