CENTERTON, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A young girl in Centerton has had her dream come true, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Emery Jost, who has cystic fibrosis, was given her very own “she shed” art studio in her backyard. She designed the blueprints for the shed herself and the Make-A-Wish Foundation brought her drawings to life.

“[It is] just amazing and it feels really nice,” Emery said.

Arkansas was not always ‘the Natural State’, here were the state’s other nicknames

Emery is going to use her new shed to read, relax and do art, she said.

“These kids spend so much time in and out of doctor’s offices and hospital visits,” Katlyn Jost, Emery’s mother, said. “[The shed] is really great for those times when Emery is doing really well for her to have her own space to enjoy and just be a normal kid.”
