Single-vehicle crash on I-64 in St. Charles claims life of Ballwin man
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A Ballwin man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Saturday on Interstate 64 in St. Charles County near the Daniel Boone Bridge. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 68-year-old Ali Nazemi-Tabrizi of Ballwin, Missouri, was driving down westbound I-64 around noon on Saturday when he ran off of the right side of the roadway. The Highway Patrol said he then returned to the roadway but overcorrected and traveled off of the roadway again, striking a utility box and then a tree.

Tipton and California high school football renew rivalry after over 20 years
After over two decades, California and Tipton high school met on the football field, once again. Separated by just 11 miles, the two schools haven't faced off in football since 1999. North County Hangs On, Beats Rival Farmington
Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - Quarterback Braydee McClure rushed for two touchdowns as the North County Raiders earned a Week 1 win over Farmington, 24-17. The Raiders, looking to avenge last season's season opening loss to the Knights, took an early lead with two first quarter touchdowns. McClure, a sophomore quarterback who is the fourth starter for the team in four seasons, used a beautiful fake to buy himself all sorts of room for a 41-yard touchdown run.
