(Area) — The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has released its Pre-Season Volleyball Rankings. In Class 1A, Riverside is ranked #8 — the Bulldogs went 27-11 last season and only lose two seniors this year. Ayla Richardson (636 assists, 96 kills, 143 digs, 39 blocks, 35 aces) returns at Setter, Elly Henderson (207 kills 145 digs, 36 blocks, 21 aces) is back up front, and Sophia Taylor (183 kills, 64 blocks, 19 aces) will give the Bulldogs a dynamic three-punch attack.

Iowa Trust and Savings Bank donates $100,000 to Indian Hills Foundation
Iowa Trust and Savings Bank, Centerville, Iowa, announces a $100,000 donor contribution to Indian Hills Foundation in support of Indian Hills Community College construction of the Centerville Education Center, which is a beautiful new 66,000 square foot construction campus that replaces the thirteen modular-based buildings originally placed on the campus in 1971. The new campus brings together the library; foodservice; general education classrooms; as well as labs for welding, industrial maintenance, construction technology; commercial driver training, agricultural sciences, nursing science and art, all in one academic building that will meet the needs of students on the Centerville Campus. With this contribution, the Health Science classroom will be named the Iowa Trust and Savings Bank classroom.
