Centerville ‘DORA Dash’ event happening all month

CENTERVILLE, Ohio ( WDTN ) — July 4 marks the start of Centerville’s “Uptown DORA Dash,” a special event to promote Centerville’s new DORA areas.

Running through July, Uptown DORA Dash aims to highlight restaurants within the city’s newly established Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA).

Participants can pick up a DORA Dash card from any of the six participating locations and receive a stamp for each restaurant they visit. Once the card is completed with six stamps, participants can enter a grand prize drawing, according to a press release.

Winners will be picked on Aug. 5. Six people will be picked to win gift card prize packs to use during future visits to participating restaurants.

The six participating locations include:

• Agave & Rye
• City Barbeque
• Nelly’s
• Manna
• Meridien
• The Brunch Pub

“This exciting event not only promotes the Uptown area’s vibrant dining scene but also fosters community engagement and support for local businesses,” the press release states. “Don’t miss this opportunity to explore and enjoy the diverse culinary offerings of Uptown Centerville.”
