LSU leads the way in Cole Cubelic’s SEC offensive line rankings
Former Auburn offensive lineman and current SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic recently ranked the top offensive lines in the SEC. The LSU Tigers are No. 1 on his board followed by Georgia, Texas, Tennessee and Missouri. When you look at LSU’s offensive line, there are two huge reasons why the Tigers are sitting at No. 1 on Cubelic’s list. Those reasons? Will Campbell and Emery Jones Jr.. Campbell and Jones are two of the top five offensive tackle prospects for the 2025 NFL draft with Campbell being the No. 1 offensive tackle and one of the top five overall draft prospects. Combine those two guys with three other solid offensive linemen and the talent that LSU has on the offensive side of the ball and you have a recipe for what could be one of the best offenses in the country this fall. Garrett Nussmeier and the Tigers offense will try to lead Brian Kelly to his third straight 10-win season on the Bayou. Top Louisiana cornerback Jaboree Antoine commits to Miami over LSU
Jaboree Antoine has had an interesting recruitment process, to say the least. Antoine committed to LSU on Jan. 27 but changed his decision a few months later. On June 23, he decommitted from LSU and reopened his recruitment. LSU was still in the running but was fighting Miami and Florida State. On Saturday, he committed once again, but it wasn’t to LSU. Antoine announced his commitment to Miami. The four-star cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class is a prized recruit and one of the best players from the boot. It stinks losing him to Miami but his recruitment is not over. He has...
Watch LSU All-America candidate Will Campbell put up a monster squat
LSU loses a lot of pieces on offense this season, but the unit is still widely expected to be one of the league’s best. A major reason for that is an offensive line that returns four of five starters from a Joe Moore Award finalist group in 2023. That unit is anchored by left tackle Will Campbell, a top 2025 draft prospect and one of the best offensive linemen in the entire country.

LSU coach Brian Kelly to face 2 former assistants in 2024
Brian Kelly has coached for a long time. He’s seen plenty of assistants come and go, with some going on to be head coaches. Two of those names include Mike Elko and Clark Lea. Both worked under Kelly as defensive coordinator and both are now SEC head coaches. Kelly will get to face both in 2024, with both appearing on LSU’s schedule. Kelly was asked about facing Mike Elko earlier this week at SEC Media Days. Kelly said Elko is a smart football coach who will play to Texas A&M’s strengths in all three phases of the game. “I think that’s why Mike’s...
