    Donald “Don” E. Morris

    Donald “Don” E Morris was born July 5th, 1941, to Gary and Leta Morris, in Lakeview Oregon. He joined a sister Jan, and brother Gary Jr. He passed on April 28, 2024, at his Prineville home. Don’s early childhood was spent in Lakeview, then the family moved to Brookings, Oregon, where he graduated from Brookings High School in 1959.

    After graduating, he married Phyllis Chadburne and together they had two children, Scott and Tracie. They later divorced, and Don moved to Bend, Oregon, where he spent 2 years helping build his in-laws’ home. Later he moved to Prineville, where he married Roberta Baldwin-Woodworth, and blended the family to include her children, Karol, Elizabeth, and William.

    While in Prineville, Don worked as Parts Manager for Central Motors, NAPA, Rice Motors, then Prineville Motor Supply, where he worked over 25 years.

    While in Brookings, Don was active in Jaycee’s, and BPOE. After moving to Prineville, he joined Lodge 1814 in 1975, and served as an active member until the time of his death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, time with family, and refinishing furniture. He liked to stay busy!

    Don was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Leta, his sister Jan, brother Gary Jr., a nephew David Morris, and grandson Christopher.

    He is survived by his wife, Roberta, and children Karol (Harry), Elizabeth (David), William (Tawny), Scott (Vicki), and Tracie, and 15 grandchildren, and four

    great-grandchildren.

    A service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prineville Elks Lodge BPOE 1814, 151 N. Main St.
