Pine Grove Hall announces new restaurant next door, new ‘casual’ menu at current spot

Pine Grove Hall, the popular bar, restaurant and music venue in Pine Grove Mills, is set to expand this summer with the addition of a new restaurant.

In a post on Facebook , Pine Grove Hall announced that a new restaurant, Flour & Stone, would be opening next door.

Pine Grove Hall, which opened in 2020 in the former home of Old Oak Tavern, is known for its continuously changing menu with ingredients sourced from a 50-mile radius. With the venue’s expansion, the original farm-to-table menu will move to next door Flour & Stone, while Pine Grove Hall will debut a new, casual menu starting Aug. 7.

“As we worked through the design and construction of Flour & Stone, it became clear that the new space, with its four separate dining rooms, is better suited for more intimate dining,” the post read. “Chef Tory’s exquisite food will now receive the undivided attention it deserves.”

Pine Grove Hall’s causal menu features sandwiches including a Brie Grilled Cheese and The Meatloaf Sandwich that range from $13-19; five pizza options at $19-20; snacks including Shrimp Toast and Grilled Wings that range from $10-$15, and a selection of “Pine Grove Hall Favorites” in the $20 range. The full menu can be viewed online, along with its August live music schedule.

The full cocktail bar will remain at Pine Grove, while Flour & Stone will focus on its wine selection, along with cocktails and beer. In a press release from Pine Grove Hall, manager Angela Harshbarger said the new restaurant is about offering new opportunities to guests.

“We will now have casual dining with delicious options at Pine Grove Hall, and more upscale dining with shareable dishes at Flour & Stone,” Harshbarger said. “We want to create relationships with all of our guests.”

Flour & Stone, located at 125 E. Pine Grove Road, is expected to open in mid-August, according to the Pine Grove Hall website.
