Local couple donates Virgin Mary statue to Blair County church following vandalism
BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — After an act of vandalism destroyed a sacred statue at a Blair County church, a local couple stepped up to replace it. A dedication was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altoona Thursday evening as they celebrated a new statue of the Virgin Mary being put into place.

Authorities say 25-year-old Robert McCloskey Jr. and 31-year-old Jody Colyer were reportedly involved in an incident early Sunday morning in which at least one shot was fired at a group of juveniles who were walking down the street.
