Blake Sims's one season of college football glory was almost halted before it even started because of a very unfortunate clerical error on someone's part. I honestly can't believe something like this was able to happen at Alabama under Nick Saban's watch. It sounds like whoever was responsible for the miscommunication between the call sheets and wristbands was never discovered, but I'd guess it's more likely that person actually was found out and then mysteriously disappeared.
