Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Gifts Players a FREE 5-Star Character Of Their Choice!

HoYoverse’s popular Genshin Impact is set to deploy version 5.0 soon, and today they’ve announced a welcome change to the gacha wish format. FREE 5-star character wishes of the player’s choice!

Today, Hoyoverse and Genshin Impact have released the remainder of the details surrounding the upcoming Version 5.0 launch. The new version will include a wealth of new features and allow players to finally access the sixth major nation of Teyvat, Natlan, and ally with the nation’s new characters and Saurians. The two-hour special program release, which doubled as a 4th-anniversary celebration, showcased the new additions to the title and can be seen below, courtesy of HoYoverse.

In the massive two-hour video, Genshin Impact pulled back the curtain on a brand new nation for travellers to explore, exciting Saurian transformation abilities and new characters to meet. But Genshin Impact blew everyone’s expectations out of the water with one addition: the much-requested feature of free 5-star character selection with each summoning banner was unveiled – players will be able to select one 5-star character from the standard banner for free on each anniversary going forward.

The new change will help travellers complete even the hardest constellations on characters without requesting fans to buy any more wishes. This is a complete paradigm shift from previous updates and banners, as fans can score a FREE five-star of their choice on each standard banner release. The upcoming characters featured in the fourth-anniversary standard banner are: Jean, Diluc, Keqing, Mona, Qiqi, Tighnari and Dehya, ensuring multiple playstyles can benefit from the first banner. Genshin Impact Version 5.0 Features

• New Nation To Explore – Fans can journey to Natlan, the Nation of War, and the Nation of Pyro has revealed the first three of six potential tribes to meet.
• Criteria for Access to Natlan -The road to Natlan will have criteria to meet, fans will have to complete all Mondstadt Archon Quests and reach Adventurer Rank 19, and to unlock the Natlan Archon Quest fans will have to complete all of Liyue’s Archon Quests and reach Adventurer Rank 28.
• Six Tribes, Only Three Revealed – Children of Echoes, Scions of the Canopy, and People of the Springs are the only three Natlan tribes revealed in Genshin Impact Version 5.0, and three more are coming. The three current tribes will receive a three-act questline, which can be started by visiting a tribe’s Obsidian Totem Pole.
• New Characters – Kinich (5-star, Dendro, Claymore), Mualani (5-star, Hydro, Catalyst), Kachina (4-star, Geo, Polearm)

Genshin Impact has also bestowed free goodies on fans before the version launch, but fans should act quickly as the time to redeem these expires tomorrow. (Note: fans also need to claim rewards after the codes are redeemed.)
