    IFA 2024: ASUS Introduces AI-Powered Lunar Lake Laptops and PC’s for Next-Level Computing

    ASUS Makes a Splash at IFA 2024, Unveiling AI-Powered PCs for Superior Performance and Portability with Intel-Driven Copilot+.

    At IFA 2024, ASUS announced its plans for Intel-Driven Copilot+ PCs , powered by the Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2). Alongside this AI integration, ASUS introduced a new lineup of devices, including the Zenbook, Vivobook, ExpertBook P series, and NUC 14 PRO, all featuring AI capabilities for enhanced performance in compact forms.

    With the Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) across its laptop lineup, ASUS is set to elevate AI-powered PCs, offering superior performance tailored to various budgets and needs. Equipped with integrated NPUs, these devices will deliver up to 48 TOPS of AI-driven power. Many models will also receive a free update to Copilot+ PC when it becomes available.

    Zenbook S series

    The new Zenbook S 14 aims to redefine the boundaries of ultraportable laptops, featuring a slim 1.1 cm profile and weighing 1.2 kg, making it the thinnest 14-inch ASUS laptop on the market. Despite its compact design, it boasts impressive specifications, including an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor capable of achieving 48 NPU for enhanced AI performance, a 3K 120Hz Lumina OLED display, a four-speaker sound system for a cinematic audio experience, and AI noise cancellation for crystal-clear conference calls. It also runs on a 72Wh battery.

    ASUS has also introduced the Zenbook S 16, a sleek and lightweight 16-inch laptop equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, designed for highly mobile users seeking a larger workspace.

    The ASUS Zenbook S 14 will be available for pre-order in Canada starting Sept. 6, 2024, and will begin shipping on Sept. 24, 2024. The version with the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, 16GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, and 1TB of storage will retail for $1,799. The model with the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor will be priced at $2,199. The Zenbook S 16 will be available later in Q1 2025.

    Vivobook S 14

    The ASUS Vivobook S 14 prioritizes maximum performance in a minimalist design, weighing 1.3 kg with a 1.39 cm-thin, all-metal chassis. Equipped with ASUS IceCool thermal technology, it features two 97-blade IceBlade fans and two air vents, achieving a maximum TDP of 35W to maintain high performance during heavy workloads. It includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor with an AI engine delivering up to 47 NPU TOPS, a dedicated Copilot key for AI assistance, a 3K 120Hz display, WiFi 7, an ASUS ErgoSense keyboard with customizable RGB backlighting and a large ErgoSense touchpad, and a Dolby Atmos audio system. The laptop runs on a 75Wh battery.

    The ASUS Vivobook S 14 will be available in Canada in early Q4 2024, priced at $1,599. It includes the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor, 16GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, and 1TB of storage.

    Vivobook 14/16 Flip

    The ASUS Vivobook 14 Flip is designed to enhance productivity and entertainment for students and professionals. It features a 360-degree hinge, allowing smooth transitions between laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes, enabling users to adapt to various workflows on a single device with the support of the ASUS Pen 2.0. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor, offering up to 47 NPU TOPS for AI applications and high performance. Additional features include WiFi 7 connectivity, a Dolby Atmos audio system, and a 14-inch FHD NanoEdge touchscreen. The Vivobook 14 Flip runs on a 70Wh battery.

    ASUS has also introduced the Vivobook 16 Flip, which features a 16-inch 3K OLED display for enhanced resolution and an immersive visual experience without compromising performance.

    ExpertBook P series

    ASUS has unveiled several new models in the ExpertBook P series, including the ExpertBook P1, P3, and P5, designed to deliver reliable performance and durability for small businesses and professionals. These laptops are powered by Intel’s latest processors, offering up to 48 NPU TOPS and up to 120 total platform TOPS of performance. The flagship ExpertBook P5 features an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor and includes ASUS AI ExpertMeet tools, as well as advanced security through a partnership with McAfee. The ExpertBook P5 is made with industrial recycled aluminum alloy and post-consumer recycled steel to reduce environmental impact, and it utilizes recycled magnets in its commercial laptops.

    In addition to these models, ASUS plans to expand the ExpertBook series with new form factors, including desktops and all-in-one devices, set to launch in 2025.

    The ASUS ExpertBook P5 will be available in four configurations in October 2024, ranging from $1,299 to $1,699 for both B2B and B2C customers. The base model, priced at $1,299, includes an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, 512GB of storage, and 16GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM. The top-tier model, priced at $1,699, features an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, 32GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, and 1TB of storage. The ExpertBook P1 and P2 will also be available in Canada in early 2025.

    ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI

    The ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI represents a significant advancement in AI NUC mini-PC technology. It features the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processors, delivering exceptional performance through its CPU, GPU, and NPU configuration, with the capability to activate up to 128 total platform TOPS. The powerful NPU can deliver up to 48 TOPS, enhancing AI capabilities with three times the AI performance needed for demanding applications.     In addition to the latest Intel processors in its upcoming lineups, ASUS has also announced two new Copilot+ PCs powered by Snapdragon X Plus processors . The upcoming models are the ASUS Vivobook S 15 and the ProArt PZ13, the first laptops in these series to utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus platform, making advanced AI features easily accessible.

    ASUS Vivobook S 15

    Designed for ultimate portability, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 features a slim 14.7 mm, 1.42 kg all-metal body with a minimalist aesthetic and a premium CNC-engraved logo. In terms of specifications, the laptop includes a 70Wh battery that can last over 19 hours, fast charging, and ASUS USB-C Easy Charge. It also features a single-zone RGB backlit keyboard, a dedicated Copilot key for instant access to AI tools, the StoryCube AI-powered app, a 15.6-inch 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display, Dolby Atmos audio, WiFi 7, HDMI 2.1, USB4 and USB 3.2 ports, and more.

    The ASUS Vivobook S 15, equipped with a Snapdragon X Plus eight-core processor, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of storage, will be available starting at $1,399 through the ASUS store and Best Buy. A model with 1TB of storage will be available for $1,499 through the ASUS store and select retailers.

    ProArt PZ13

    Weighing just 0.85 kg, the ProArt PZ13 is a lightweight, detachable laptop designed for creativity on the go. It features IP52 and military-grade durability. As a Copilot+ PC, the laptop offers a next-level AI experience with enhanced security, speed, and personalization. In terms of specifications, the ProArt PZ13 includes two USB4 ports, an SD card reader, a 3K ASUS Lumina OLED touchscreen with stylus support, and AI-powered tools like StoryCube for content management and ProArt Creator Hub for optimized workflows. Additionally, purchasers will receive a six-month CapCut membership, perfect for video editing enthusiasts.

    The ASUS ProArt PZ13, equipped with a Snapdragon X Plus eight-core processor, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of storage, and bundled with an ASUS Pen 2.9, will be available for $1,649 through the ASUS store and Best Buy.
