Samsung recently held an event in Toronto to unveil several new devices coming to Canada next month, including a new wearable, a new phone, and two new tablets. Starting October 3, Canadians will be able to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Ring, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra .

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is the company’s newest wearable, designed to track your health, activity, and sleep, sending the information to the Samsung Health App . Already available in the U.S., the Galaxy Ring is finally coming to Canada. Through the app, you’ll be able to track your steps, sleep (including snoring), exercise, heart rate, and calories burned, providing you with an overall energy score. Using your data and Galaxy AI, the app will give you tips on how to improve your stats moving forward.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring charges in a rechargeable ring case with a column, around which the ring rests as it charges. An LED ring around the column lights up to confirm charging and can also indicate the remaining battery life for the case. If you lose your ring, pressing a button on the case activates LEDs on the ring that flash to help you locate it.

The Galaxy Ring comes in sizes ranging from 5 to 13 and is available in three colours: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. Sizes 5 to 7 sport an 18 mAh battery, while the larger sizes have a 19.5 mAh battery, with the case offering an additional 361 mAh.

Next, we saw the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, the first of Samsung’s phones built specifically for Galaxy AI, optimized for Samsung’s Artificial Intelligence. It comes in five colours: Graphite, Grey, Blue, Mint, and Yellow. The camera setup is similar to the Galaxy S24+ , with three lenses. The 50MP wide and 12MP ultrawide lenses are found on the S24+, but the telephoto and front-facing lenses drop from 10MP to 8MP and 12MP to 10MP, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will feature a deca-core processor and come in 128GB and 256GB models, both with 8GB of RAM. It will have a 4,700 mAh battery with 25W charging and a 2340×1080 Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

Lastly, we saw the latest tablets from Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra. The primary difference between the two devices is size, with the S10+ featuring a 12.4-inch 2800×1752 pixel display and the Ultra boasting a 14.6-inch 2960×1848 pixel display. The Tab S10+ has more limitations on its models, with 256GB and 512GB versions, both with 12GB of RAM, while the Ultra adds a 1TB version with 16GB of RAM. Both models can add up to 1.5TB of storage via microSD.

The rear cameras on both the Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra are 13MP, and the front-facing cameras are 12MP. The S10+ is listed as having an ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view. The S10 Ultra, being the larger of the two tablets, has a bigger battery with 11,200 mAh compared to the 10,090 mAh on the S10+. Both models come in two colours: Moonstone Grey and Platinum Silver.
