Shippensburg, Waynesboro and James Buchanan each remained undefeated on Friday night as Week 2 of the high school football season unfolded in Franklin County . Here's what happened:

    Shippensburg 28, Hershey 13

The Greyhounds got rushing touchdowns from four players, and their defense forced three turnovers as they defeated the visiting Trojans in a Mid-Penn Keystone matchup at Veterans Stadium to improve to 2-0.

After Hershey (1-1) took a 7-0 lead on its first possession with a 16-yard touchdown run by Samir Edwards-Pace, Shippensburg scored 28 straight points.

Quarterback Brady Maciejewski scored on a 1-yard keeper to tie the game late in the first quarter, and the Greyhounds turned a pair of fumble recoveries into points in the second quarter, getting a 9-yard TD run from Ja'nye Statum and a 12-yard TD run by Mark Carothers Jr. to take a 21-7 halftime lead.

Jaden Hines scored Shippensburg's final touchdown on a 2-yard run early in the third quarter to make it 28-7.

"Our ball control was very good tonight," Greyhounds coach Eric Foust said. "Our offensive line and our running backs played hard. We needed to stop them earlier, but other than that, I'm really happy with the effort of our boys. We just need to get better each week right now. That's our goal."

Hershey cut it to 28-13 on a 1-yard TD run by Sean Elliott with 3:09 left in the third quarter.

Nick Scott had an interception for Shippensburg, while Andrei Lockhart and Hines each recovered a fumble.
