A popular Atlanta food truck is planning to open a brick-and-mortar location at an upcoming food hall in Chamblee.

Let’s Taco Bout It is joining Chamblee Tap & Market .

“After years on wheels, finding a home at Chamblee Tap & Market is a perfect fit,” Let’s Taco Bout It founder Jace Whitsey said. “It’s a vibrant spot that aligns with our adventurous spirit and commitment to quality. We’re excited to introduce our guests to new tacos from different countries, starting with our Greek taco that’s already a hit.”

Let’s Taco Bout It began in 2016 serving a mix of both traditional and fusion tacos, as well as bowls and nachos.

Chamblee Tap & Market is designed by Vickers Design Group , blending “modern aesthetics with a casual ambiance.” The micro food hall will feature three different food stalls: Let’s Taco Bout It, Southern Grace , and another concept that will be announced soon.

In addition to the eateries, Chamblee Tap & Market will also include Sidecar Coffee and an adjoining taproom.

Chamblee Tap & Market is the work of Jeff Kimmel and David Heymann , who want to create an oasis for enthusiasts of beer, food and wine.

“From the beginning, my partner Jeff Kimmel and I were committed to bringing unique culinary experiences to Chamblee to complement our bar offerings,” Heymann said. “Let’s Taco Bout It, with its dynamic approach to Mexican fusion cuisine, is exactly what we envisioned. We’re thrilled to have them join our family of food stalls and believe they will be a big draw for our customers.”

Chamblee Tap & Market partnered with commercial real estate broker terra alma to curate the food hall.

“Seeing Let’s Taco Bout It expand into Chamblee Tap & Market reflects the vibrant culinary diversity that terra alma loves to support,” founder Edie Weintraub said. “This venture is not just about great food; it’s about enriching the community and bringing people together through unique dining experiences.”

Chamblee Tap & Market is located next to City Hall and the soon-to-be-built Chamblee Town Center. It will be open seven days a week and feature a private event space for special occasions. A public opening is scheduled for later this year.
