A residential project in Chamblee is moving forward, and it could be larger than originally planned.

The Frazier at Olde Towne Gordon is planned for 3553 Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Windsor Stevens , the developer behind the project, has purchased the property next door to increase the size, according to Urbanize Atlanta .

Updated renderings also show additional floors from what was originally planned several years ago. The project was formerly referred to as The Gordon, and it was originally going to include for-sale condos.

As of now, the mixed-use luxury apartment community is set to include 144 units, according to the developer , with an average unit size of 735 square feet. The development would include 7,400 square feet of retail space, along with 1,900 square feet of covered porch space for retail tenants.

Residents will be able to enjoy 6,000 square feet of amenities, which are expected to include a pool deck, a fitness/yoga room with installed bicycle racks, and areas for electric scooters and electric-vehicle charging stations.

“The demographics of the area surrounding the Frazier point to an active local economy that will support the Class-A community,” according to Windsor Stevens.

The Frazier would be near the Chamblee MARTA Station. Atlanta-based architecture and design firm Niles Bolton Associates is working on the project.
