The latest restaurant news from business writer Jana Wiersema (more in this weekend's 'It's Your Business' column):

— The new Atomic Wings restaurant at 627 S. Wright St. in Champaign is expected to open in mid-July, said local franchisee Kavita Venkatesh.

— Crumbl Cookies is expected to open at 2005 S. Neil St. in Champaign the first week of August, managing partner Deb Platon shared on social media.

— The Meatheads at 1305 S. Neil St. is expected to become an Epic Burger in "mid-late August when students return to campus," said Epic Burger CEO David Grossman.

— A new Papa John's at 1608 Patton Dr. in Mahomet is expected to open by early August, said Harrison Sheffield, a senior communications manager with the chain. The franchisee is The Bajco Group.
