Congratulations to Champaign Red Lobster, the most recent recipient of Champaign American Legion Post 24’s monthly award for proper display of the American flag.

The high-traffic display at 1901 N. Prospect Ave. was part of a 2016 remodel of the restaurant. Longtime manager Jennifer Tuttle and Co. keep a close eye on Ol’ Glory to make sure it’s in tip-top shape.

Red Lobster is the sixth restaurant honored by Post 24 in 19 years. Others include: O’Charley’s,

Texas Roadhouse, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Arby’s and Bob Evans.
