Champion Township trustee dies

CHAMPION, Ohio ( WKBN) – A Champion township trustee has passed away.

William Templeton, 68, died of a heart attack on Friday at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, according to his obituary.

Templeton has been serving as a trustee since 2020, also holding the position from 1994-1997 and 2011-2014. He has been a resident of Champion since 1992 and owner of Dustin Energy, Inc.

According to his obituary, services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home .

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at the funeral home and again one hour prior to the service time.
