Champlin Park girls lacrosse continued to thrive this spring with three games last week, collecting three wins in their penultimate week of the regular season. The Rebels ended the week 7-0 in NWSC play, 12-0 overall this season.

The action began with a 12-4 win over Elk River/Zimmerman on May 13 to improve the Rebels to a 7-0 Northwest Suburban Conference record, keeping them top of the standings. The win featured six goals for Reese Hagenbart in her latest dominant attacking performance. Annabelle Johnson also impressed with four goals and two assists, while Miley Jiracek scored one goal and made two assists. Lauren Schindlbeck rounded out the points with one goal and one assist.

Champlin Park continued a strong week of play with a 15-3 win over Breck on May 15. The win included big moments from the likes of Johnson and Schindlbeck, but also provided opportunities for the Rebels to show just how deep their roster is. Junior varsity attacker and junior Astrid Clem was amongst the scorers, helping the Rebels take a strong early lead in the first quarter.

The Rebels took a third win last week, beating Blake 16-1 to conclude their regular season non-conference games for 2024. Both Johnson and Reese Hagenbart scored hat tricks, while Alayna Roehl, Schindlbeck, Ella Engstrom, and Anna Pitzen each scored two goals. Cally Gunderson scored one, while Miley Jiracek also scored one goal and led on assists with five.

Champlin Park will play one game the following week, traveling to local rivals Maple Grove for a clash on Wednesday, May 22.
