The Chandler Cultural Foundation recently announced Jyoti Pathak as a new member of its board of directors.

Appointed by Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke, Pathak is a professional leader in the field of data analytics and AI, having worked with such firms as Avnet, Tech Data and TD Synnex. She recently launched a consulting firm that focuses on go-to-market advice and training for data analytics and AI practice.

Originally from Bihar & Jharkhand in India, Pathak studied math and statistics for her undergraduate degree at Banaras Hindu University, then received her master's in information science and technology at the Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Pathak actively engages with the community, notably serving on the Indo-American Foundation of Arizona Board, dedicated to fostering cultural, social, and religious activities within the Indian American community in Arizona.

“Our community is so rich and diverse in Arizona and I’m thrilled to be able to bring more of the Indian culture and perspectives to the Chandler Center for the Arts,” Pathak said in a news release.

“Jyoti’s impressive background in technology and analytics, her deep connections to the Indian community — both here and abroad — and her passion to develop cultural exchange add a new dynamic to the Board, and we are thrilled to have her expertise and leadership,” David Woodruff, chair of the Chandler Cultural Foundation, said in the release.

Pathak has been a Chandler resident for 17 years with her husband Anjani Jha and her son Keshav Jha. She is also a life success and leadership development coach and holds graduate certificates in digital marketing, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence and diversity, equity and inclusion at the workplace.

She is also training to become a pilot.

“I always wanted to be a fighter pilot when I was growing up, so it’s a dream come true to be in the skies. It’s just another reason why I love living in Chandler,” Pathak said.
