City of Chandler announces Memorial Day closures

The City of Chandler service closures for the Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 27,  were announced Tuesday.

Trash and recycling will be collected on Memorial Day.

• City administrative offices will be closed.
• The Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center will be closed to the public.
• Tumbleweed Recreation Center will be open holiday hours, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• The Chandler Tennis Center at Tumbleweed Park will be open with holiday-schedule hours from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• The city's Senior Center, Nature Center, Snedigar Recreation Center and downtown Community Center will be closed.
• Chandler Public Libraries (Downtown, Basha, Hamilton and Sunset) will be closed.
• The Chandler Museum will be closed.
• The box office at the Center for the Arts will be closed.
• The Vision Gallery and Center for the Arts Gallery will be closed.
• All pools except Folley are open from noon to 5 p.m. There will be no lap swimming sessions at Hamilton, Desert Oasis, Nozomi and Mesquite Groves.
