Chandler semiconductor plant celebrates 30 years of manufacturing

The Chandler City Council recently recognized the semiconductor firm NXP for celebrating its 30th anniversary of the plant’s first wafer manufacture in Chandler.

Representatives of NXP were at the June 10 Council meeting for the reading of a proclamation, praising NXP’s innovation.

Standing by as Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke read the proclamation were Council member Angel Encinas and  Chandler’s economic development director, Micah Miranda.
