    Chandler Symphony has September, October shows

    The Chandler Symphony Orchestra has two upcoming Sunday-afternoon shows at the Chandler Center for the Arts, with conductor Vanja Gjumar Nikolovski.

    Admission is by donation. The doors open at 2:30 pm for open seating for the 3 p,m. shows.

    Sept. 8, “La Vie Parisienne Overture,” “Ballet Music from Faust” and “Symphonie Fantastique” will be presented. Oct. 6, it’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Scherzo,” “Violin Concerto in E minor” and “Symphony No. 9 (from the New World).”
