Bring your vehicle to Chandler 'Midnight Madness' Saturday

Firebird Motorsports in Chandler hosts a "Midnight Madness" on Saturday, July 13.

Drivers can bring their car or truck to drive in a safe and controlled environment with other car enthusiasts on a quarter-mile strip.

Gates open at 7:30 p.m. The track will be "hot" at 9 p.m.; racing could go as late as 2 a.m.

Event highlights include:

• "Run What Ya Brung: This segment encourages both amateurs and seasoned racers to test their speed by bringing their vehicles.
• Vendors: Take a break from the adventure by visiting the vendor’s station after the drive.
• Car Show: Beyond the drag strip, the event will feature a car show with a variety of collector cars.
