Time has run out on voters’ ability to mail in ballots for the Tuesday, July 30 primary election.

The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office recommended that ballots be mailed no later than Tuesday, July 23, 5 p.m. to be received and counted by July 30.

Anyone who still has a mail-in ballot can drop it off this week at 14 county drop ballot boxes in the Chandler area.
Chandler City Hall, 88 E. Chicago St., is the only drop-box location where no voting will occur.

All of the locations listed in this story, including Chandler City Hall, already have drop boxes set up to receive ballots around the clock.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College’s Pecos campus, 2626 E. Pecos Road, is the only in-person voting center open in the Chandler area this week. Voting happens in person there Wednesday through Friday, July 24-26, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 27.

After all voting locations take Sunday off, the college and these locations will all be open for early voting Monday, July 29, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

    • Chandler United Methodist Church, 450 E. Chandler Heights Road.

    • Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center, 5901 S. Hillcrest Drive.

    • Nozomi Aquatic Center, 250 S. Kyrene Road.

    • American Legion Matthew B Juan Post 35, 2240 W. Chandler Blvd.

    • Chandler Bible Church, 1200 N. Price Road.

    • Islamic Center Of The East Valley, 425 N. Alma School Road.

    • Desert Oasis Aquatic Center, 1400 W. Summit Place.

On election day, Tuesday, July 30, the college location and all others listed above will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., in addition to these sites:

    • Cottonwood Country Club, 25630 S. Brentwood Drive.

    • Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, 9248 E. Riggs Road.
