Applications are being accepted for Chandler educational mini-grants of up to $1,000 in support of diversity, equity and inclusion programs for youth ages 5-18.

Grants are available to teachers, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community groups that either are located in Chandler or provide services to the city's residents or students.

Proposals must align with the city's DEI mission: "To cultivate a community and municipal organization that embraces diversity to create a more inclusive and equitable place to live, work and thrive."

Funding is provided by Chandler’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division in partnership with the city’s Human Relations Commission.

Applications also are being accepted for the city’s DEI Event Sponsorship Program. Now in its second year, this continuing pilot program offers funding for new or emerging DEI-focused events in Chandler.

Organizations that received awards last year also may apply for this year’s funding.

This program accepts applications for events planned more than three months in advance with two review periods. Round 1 is due in October for events taking place any time in 2025; Round 2 is due April 1, 2025, for events taking place in the final six months of 2025 only.
